Your Gynecologic health freedom starts here.

Freedom for you could mean better periods, controlled perimenopause, or contraception. To name a few!

We want to help you on your path to find that healthier place in life.

Appointments

  • The goal of your annual exam with Dr. Eden is to discuss screening for all female organs including breast, vaginal, ovarian, uterine, and cervical. This also includes pelvic floor health and bladder health. Your annual exam will not just be another pap smear visit - it will be a complete review and discussed about your overall female health.

  • This is any visit where an Annual exam is not completed or an Annual exam visit that needs additional time to discuss one concern.

A consultation can be about any of the following:

    • Birth control

    • Hormone replacement therapy

    • Perimenopause

    • Heavy or painful periods

    • Prolapse concern

    • Vaginal itching, discharge or odor

    • Breast concern

    • Libido concern

    • Bladder concern

    • Pelvic pain

    • The list for a consultation is endless!

  • At any appointment, hormone testing can be added to your visit. We believe in baseline testing to know what your hormones are doing when you feel good so that if one day you do not feel your best you can have them rechecked to compare!

  • A pelvic ultrasound can be added to any visit. You may want to add it for a pelvic pain concern (pain with periods, pain with sex, or chronic pain). Some women want an annual ultrasound to have their uterus and ovaries checked. Other reasons to have an ultrasound include IUD check, history of ovarian cysts, history of fibroids, abnormal bleeding, pregnancy confirmation, and more.

Office Procedures

  • We take great care to make IUD insertion as comfortable as possible, sending you medications beforehand to help the cervix prepare for insertion and anti-inflammatory. The ultrasound is used prior to insertion and after to confirm uterine health and correct IUD position.

  • Offered after an abnormal Pap smear to look closely at the cervix. Colposcopy is a large microscope (which never actually touches the cervix) to give Dr. Eden a close up view of the cervix.

  • The arm implant for birth control, Nexplanon, can be inserted or removed by Dr. Eden.

  • Office Hysteroscopy can be performed to view the inside of the uterus for abnormal bleeding or to remove polyps or small fibroids.

  • Other procedures include vulvar biopsy, endometrial biopsy, skin biopsy, trigger point injections, bartholin gland cyst management, and more.

Surgeries

  • Management of fibroids can include hysteroscopic removal, abdominal (large incision) removal, or robotic surgery (small incision) removal.

  • Dr. Eden performs minimally invasive surgery for removal of ovarian cysts using the robotic Da Vinci. Typically this is a same day procedure.

  • For women needing a true diagnosis of endometriosis or previously had it before, removal of endometriosis can improve painful cycles. This is performed with small incisions and can be same day discharge.

  • This procedure is for women with heavy bleeding. An ablation cauterizes the lining of the uterus so that it does not allow bleeding every month. Results are no periods at all or light bleeding typically.

  • Dr. Eden offers minimally invasive hysterectomy using the Da Vinci Robot, which allows for small incisions and same day discharge. A hysterectomy can be for fibroids, heavy bleeding, pain, and more.

  • A tubal ligation is typically for permanent contraception. This can be completed with small incision and same day discharge.

  • Not all surgeries are the same. Some women need a combination surgery with another type of surgeon, which Dr. Eden is happy to do.
